Bon Sushi began at a potluck dinner. A guest brought sushi they had prepared — not to impress, but simply to share.
Behind it was a chef with years of experience in fast-paced kitchens across Korea and Australia.
The response was instant: “Why doesn’t Regina have sushi like this?” That question became Bon Sushi.
We age our salmon.
Most places choose convenience. We choose quality — even when it’s harder. Our salmon is carefully aged for better texture and flavour. It takes more effort, but you can taste the difference.
Sushi made for people who don’t usually eat sushi.
We know not everyone in Regina loves raw fish — and we didn’t ignore that.
So we designed our menu to make sushi easier to enjoy. From torched rolls with rich, smoky flavours to house-made sauces and comforting hot dishes, there’s always a way in.

When we compared our costs to other sushi spots in Regina, we were surprised.
We could have priced higher, like many places do. But we chose to price based on real costs — not market hype.
